Terms of Service

These Terms are an agreement between you and Paco Webs ("Paco Webs," "we," "us"). They cover pacowebs.com, every site published through it, and all our tools, marketplace, directory and paid services (the "Services"). By using the Services you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use the Services.

1. Who can use Paco Webs

You must be at least 18 (or the age of majority where you live) to create an account, post in the Marketplace, buy anything or publish a website. If you use the Services for a business, you confirm you're authorized to act for it, and "you" includes the business.

2. Your account

Keep your login secure and your information accurate. You're responsible for activity on your account. Tell us right away through our contact page if you think someone else has access. Work you do before signing in is saved in your browser and moved to your account when you sign in.

3. Free services

The website builder, free publishing on a Paco Webs address, Marketplace listings, directory listings and free tools are free. We may change, limit or discontinue free features at any time. Free sites and tools may show a small Paco Webs credit or badge.

4. Your content

"Your Content" is anything you add: text, photos, logos, listings, reviews, messages, menus, invoices and website content.

  • You keep ownership of Your Content.
  • You give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, display, reproduce, adapt (for example resize or translate) and distribute Your Content only as needed to run, promote and improve the Services. For public content (websites, listings, reviews) this includes showing it to the public and search engines. The license ends when you delete the content, except for limited-time backups, content others already shared, or where the law requires us to keep it.
  • You confirm you have the rights to everything you upload, including photos of people and other businesses' names and logos.
  • We may screen, format, refuse or remove content that breaks these Terms or our Marketplace Rules.

5. Your website and your visitors

If you publish a website, you're responsible for it and for how you treat your customers. Contact forms, booking requests and food orders on your site send your visitors' information to you. You're responsible for responding, honoring their requests and following laws that apply to your business (licensing, pricing, food safety, advertising, privacy). We process your visitors' information on your behalf to deliver it to you.

6. Paco Marketplace and Directory

  • Paco Webs is a venue. We're not a party to any deal, job, rental, sale or service between users, and we don't employ, endorse or guarantee any user, listing or business.
  • Do your own checks before paying, hiring, renting or meeting anyone. Never pay by wire, gift card or crypto to someone you haven't met.
  • Listings and messages are screened automatically (including by AI) for scams and inappropriate content. Screening can make mistakes and doesn't guarantee a listing is safe or accurate.
  • Reviews must reflect a real experience. Don't post fake reviews, review your own business, or offer anything in exchange for a review.
  • Claiming a business: only claim a business you own or are authorized to manage. We may ask for proof and may reverse a claim. A claimed or verified badge means the claim passed our check at the time, not that we endorse the business.
  • Directory information may come from public sources or users and may be out of date. Businesses can request corrections or removal through our contact page.
  • We may use strikes, restrict, suspend or remove accounts that break the rules. You can appeal through Your Portal.

7. AI features

Some features use artificial intelligence, including safety checks, business copy suggestions, the assistant and news summaries. AI output can be wrong or incomplete. Review anything AI writes before publishing or relying on it. You're responsible for content you choose to publish.

8. News (Última Hora)

News stories are AI-generated summaries based on headlines from third-party publishers, with links to the original sources. News images may be AI-generated illustrations, not photos of the actual events. Summaries may contain errors; check the original source. News is general information only.

9. Free tools

Invoices, estimates, menus, flyers, QR codes and booking links are templates you fill in. You're responsible for their accuracy and for tax, pricing or legal requirements that apply to you. They aren't tax, accounting or legal advice. Booking tools may be powered by a partner (ChickPic Booking) whose terms may also apply.

10. Paid services

Prices are in U.S. dollars at checkout. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number. Sales tax may be added where required.

  • Done-for-you websites and add-ons: we build what your package describes. Delivery times are estimates. Delays in sending us your details, photos or approvals extend delivery.
  • Lead generation and marketing packages: we perform the setup work described. We do not guarantee any number of leads, calls, rankings, reviews, map placement or revenue. Results depend on Google, your market, competition and other factors outside our control. Ad budgets are paid directly to the ad platform and are separate from our fees.
  • Custom domains and hosting: billed one year at a time. If auto-renew is on and a card is saved, we'll charge the renewal price shown in Your Portal before expiration. Turn auto-renew off anytime in Your Portal. A domain that isn't renewed may expire and become available to others.
  • Paco Pro ($10/month): a subscription that renews automatically every month until you cancel. Cancel anytime in Your Portal; you keep Pro until the end of the period you paid for. We'll announce price changes at least 30 days ahead; they won't affect a period already paid. Pro checkout may be processed by Stripe as a reseller, in which case Stripe's checkout terms also apply.
  • Tips ("Apoya a Paco"): voluntary, don't buy any product or service, aren't charitable donations and aren't tax-deductible. If you opt in, your business name and link appear on the public Supporters Wall.
  • Refunds are covered in our Refund Policy.

11. What you may not do

Don't use the Services to: break any law; scam, mislead or impersonate anyone; post adult, hateful, violent or illegal content; sell illegal or regulated goods; infringe copyright, trademark or privacy; send spam; harvest other users' data; interfere with, overload, scrape or hack the Services; get around moderation, strikes or payments (including misusing coupon codes); or publish a website that does any of these. 12. Our content

The Paco Webs name, logo, platform design, templates and software belong to us or our licensors. You may use our templates to build and run your own site on Paco Webs. You may not resell our templates or copy the platform.

13. Third-party services

The Services link to or rely on third parties (such as Stripe, Google, Meta, domain registrars and booking partners). We're not responsible for their services; their terms apply to your use of them.

14. Ending your use

You can stop using the Services and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if you break these Terms, create risk or legal exposure for us or others, or if we discontinue a service. If we end a paid service without cause, we'll refund the unused portion. Sections that by nature should survive (backups license, payment obligations, disclaimers, liability limits, disputes) survive.

15. Disclaimers

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE FULLEST EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DON'T PROMISE THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE OR SECURE, OR THAT ANY LISTING, REVIEW, NEWS ITEM OR AI OUTPUT IS ACCURATE.

16. Limit of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW, WE AREN'T LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA OR BUSINESS, OR FOR DEALINGS BETWEEN USERS. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) WHAT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) $100. Some places don't allow some of these limits, so they may not all apply to you.

17. Indemnity

If someone brings a claim against us because of Your Content, your website, your business, your dealings with other users or your breach of these Terms, you agree to defend and cover us for the resulting costs, including reasonable legal fees.

18. Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before filing any claim, contact us through our contact page and give us 30 days to resolve it informally. Disputes will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Connecticut, and both sides consent to their jurisdiction, except either side may bring a qualifying claim in small-claims court.

19. Changes

We may update these Terms. For significant changes we'll post a notice on the site or email you before they take effect, and signed-in users will be asked to accept the new version. Continuing to use the Services after the effective date means you accept the update.
